Every month Narara Ecovillage hosts an Open Day. Four times a year we extend this welcome with an ‘Open Weekend’. We invite you to join us in -

Celebrating the abundance of Autumn and the gift of living here
Communicating the global and local vision of Narara EcovillageContributing to the collaborative effort is takes to establish an ecovillage, and
Connecting with members by sharing, learning, working and playing together.

Our invitation offers two options.
Option 1: Saturday from 9.30 – 12pm includes all the parts of our regular ‘Open Day’ program: Presentation, Tours and Q&A – a perfect first-timer’s overview.
Option 2: flows on from Saturday after lunch through Sunday early afternoon. Everyone is welcome with separate registration.

Camping can be booked; daytime visits are just fine.

From Saturday midday everything will be for the ecovillage as much as about it. Activities might include:
Mushrooming Interest – inoculating logs for multifarious mycelia
An Hour of Power – blitzing a bank overrun with weedsGetting
All Steamed-up – using the steam-weeder
Circling Around Sociocracy – principles and practices in our decision-making
Steps towards small footprint – walk from Tiny House to Tiny House across Stage 2
Points of Light – lantern-making and children’s parade at sunset
Soup, scones and bongo drums – an evening around the fire sharing food and stories
Hopeful Glimpses – evening session of films that acknowledge and inspire

Cost:

Open Day only: $10 individual / $20 family
Extended stay (Sat pm to Sun pm): $10 individual / $20 family
Discounts for NELN members and concessions

Registration:

Online or in person on Saturday at 10 am and/or at lunchtime.

Overnight Camping:

on site with camp kitchen and amenities
$10pp by advanced bookings
